Prize money inflation adjusted?

The records are all in the recent years and for example Kerber did not have nearly as much success as Graf in her prime. Do prize moneys increase so much more than inflation or is that just not corrected for?--Crotopaxi (talk) 17:15, 26 October 2017 (UTC)

Billie-Jean King has won Wimbledon 6 times and the US Open 4 times . However here in the section Titles won per tournament it says only 4 for Wimbledon and 3 for the US Open ? Match winning percentage by court type

Margaret Court has been removed from these lists? Her overall percentage is listed, but the numbers on Margaret Court for grass should put her on that list. I also think she should be on the hard court list, but someone's come up with an arbitrary "must have at least 200 wins" condition, presumably in order to omit her? You only need 90 wins on clay or 40 on grass/carpet, but obviously setting a limit of 100 wins on hard courts wasn't enough.

I know she's a horrible person, but she's a horrbile person with multiple tennis records, and this is just an attempt to whitewash her from history. Regardless of that, the grass-winning percentage is a factually incorrect table without her at the top: 293-22, 93.01%. I suspect she should be on the clay list as well, or was the "90 wins" limit chosen because she has 80-something on that surface? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.40.193.182 (talk) 17:07, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Match wins % year End tournament

The need for 8 match wins to get the potential to be considered for this list is way over the top. Seeing Hingis scrape in makes one wonder how many people who have attended multiple tournaments have missed out. This should be reduced to attending a minimum of two such tournaments. All four finals

Navratilova is recorded as winning all four finals in 1986 despite only winning three. The justification is that the AO was not played that year. OK so based on this theory (which, by the way, makes an implicit assumption that she would have attended and won this tournament) we should accept that in 2020 Wimbledon can be awarded to someone suitable, that give tournaments had to be won in 1977 when there were two AO to get a GS that year, and well the list is quite long really. So it’s tough luck, worse occurred for many players in the war years or when women couldn’t play in tournaments created as they were for men only or lacked a doubles category for them and so on. Navratilova won titles, not four. Please amend this. Antipodenz (talk) 09:53, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
