Open-loop controll system
[edit]Give five advantages and five disadvantages of open-loop controlled system.
- Try the Computing or Science Reference Desk instead. However, if this is a homework question, they probably won't help you there. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 08:18, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
This page should redirect to control_theory since closed-loop_controller does. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.76.118.13 (talk) 04:07, 7 October 2009 (UTC)
open loop

- I beleive the example in the image is poorly chosen in that it is not actually an example of open-loop control. The robot hands are manipulating the radioactive material, by a person, but the person is no doubt somehow looking at what s/he is doing with those hands. This would be closed loop control, with a human in the loop. Examples given in the text (e.g. something controlled only by a timer) is a better example -- but no doubt harder to provide a nice image of. I think the current image should be removed so as to not confuse people. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:DF0:0:2006:4B18:949:B672:B354 (talk) 21:14, 5 June 2017 (UTC)
I agree, new timer image substituted. Dougsim (talk) 14:26, 23 September 2017 (UTC)#
Advantages and disadvantages given in text and lead now. Narrative improved. Dougsim (talk) 06:46, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
