At least online, "Ongut" seems to be much more popular than "Ongud". Do we have a Mongolian spelling (classic or modern)? --Latebird19:43, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Onguds were Turks, not Mongols. The article itself suggested it, but many authors speak about them as being Turkic, including the contemporary sources. --Governor Sheng (talk) 23:50, 15 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
