Notability
[edit]First of all, help me out to rephrase the newly-added "Eluru outbreak" section. Can anyone clarify whether the outbreak being originated from this part of the city amplifies its notability? AdiBhai (talk) 05:29, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
- The general approach for "parts of cities" is to add the information, appropriately referenced, to the city article until there is consensus that it needs to be split. I'm therefore going to redirect the stub article to the city so you can do this. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 16:10, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Meghmollar2017: Redirect is done, along with a few edits to the target page. You should start by transferring any information and references that should be kept from the prior version of the page to the Eluru page. The outbreak counts as a ONEVENT sort of situation, so does not, all by itself, confer any notability. If there's a great deal more press coverage, that situation should be re-evaluated. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 16:35, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
