Merger back into Season 19

[edit]

Unless there's an official source listing Reverie as the 20th season, propose that the episodes from One Piece (season 20) should be merged back into One Piece (season 19). These lists seem to base the season divisions on the DVDs and episode 878, which was announced as the start of Reverie prior to it airing,[1][2] has now been listed on the Japanese Season 19 Piece 23 DVD; 878 at least should be moved, but Avex might categorize the entirety of this arc as part of Season 19 as well. Until the DVDs are announced, the start of Season 20 (and Wano being Season 21) seems to be speculation.

Another option could be to rename the article One Piece (Reverie arc), as the story arc names are now announced prior to airing and the Seasons are announced months after. This would also be more indicative of which episodes are listed and more representative of the series not airing seasonally. LostTL (talk) 13:47, 2 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

As now at least up to 882 is "Season 19" as per the home video releases, I'll merge this list back into Season 19. LostTL (talk) 15:06, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring

[edit]

SpectresWrath and Dragon master88, I hope you both enjoy 24 hours of rest, away from Wikipedia. When you come back, feel free to discuss the matter on the talk page or seek counsel elsewhere. If you two can fight so hard and so long over the count of one, surely y'all can find the time to learn the rules here, and to figure out in what forum you might discuss these matters to seek resolution. If you return to edit warring, I will block you again, for longer. Happy editing. Drmies (talk) 23:27, 28 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Episode issue

[edit]

Really don't see why we are counting unaired episodes as aired episodes before they actually air. Dragon master88 07:34, 31 October 2019 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dragon master88 (talkcontribs)

@Drmies: These guys are edit warring with IP in this page One Piece (TV series) too on this same silly issue. Since they are already warned, can you change it to semi-protected, so I can add other info like credits and @Dragon master88: said "892 - 908 is actually 16. 892 - 909 would be 17" how is that possible, here a clear numbered table list
Number Episode Number
1 892
2 893
3 894
4 895
5 896
6 897
7 898
8 899
9 900
10 901
11 902
12 903
13 904
14 905
15 906
16 907
17 908
1–17 892–908

So I don't know what you are talking about Dragon master88, are you counting blindly ? Panda619 (talk) 02:21, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't understand any of the things y'all are talking about, but I do detect some disruption. Panda, I am going to unprotect the article and I am blocking Dragon master for a week. SpectresWrath, this is not carte blanche for you. Drmies (talk) 02:49, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thank you, they are just fighting over number of episodes aired in the season, where Dragon master88's count is wrong and SpectresWrath adds unaired episodes to count and page seems to be still protected. Panda619 (talk) 03:24, 8 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Episode Titles

[edit]

Avdald, we use official English titles from companies like Funimation or Crunchyroll because they license the anime series and have professional translators who know the language. SpectresWrath (talk) 23:47, 20 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly and that's why their translations are not literal but adapted to the English audience whereas the title of episode 944 is literaly translated from the Japanese title while waiting for the English official one to be released, what about the romanization of 地獄 which the furigana clearly romanized as インフェルノ or your removal of Aya Komaki as the Storyboard? Let's wrap it up quickly, you obviously don't know what you are talking about. Avdald (talk) 00:13, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
We only list the Director, Writer, and Animation director. As for the titles, we only use the English ones because their sourced. You keep this edit war going, I will report you. SpectresWrath (talk) 01:31, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
See, you're proving again that you don't know what you are talking about, what about episode 900, 903, 906, 912, 916, 921 and 923? Aren't those storyboard? I'm not the one who added them, you're inconsistent. Yes, all titles are sourced, if not, they are annotated. Nothing to say about the romanization of 地獄? Yeah I will also report you if you keep being ignorant. Avdald (talk) 02:08, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Copy pasted from Cwmhiraeth talk page, still no response:

Ok, firstly I told you that I did not see any problem with that hence why I corrected the note to precise that all english titles used in this table, unless stated otherwise are the "official licensed" ones but yet you are the one changing it to "literally translated" which doesn't necessarily mean official and is completely false since the licensed version will never literally translate word by word, they will always omit/change some words and/or not respecting the proper ellipsis and exclamation marks from the episode's original names so you are contradicting yourself here. Secondly why do you only mention this first point and not the others? I will mention them another time and hopefully you won't ignore them again. Concerning the romanization of the title of episode 943, the furigana on the kanji "地獄" (Jigoku) is "インフェルノ" (Inferuno) meaning that the kanji shoud follow the pronunciation as well as the romanization of the katakana and not the usual hiragana "じごく" (Jigoku) if you're not aware of that simple Japanese fact, you should refrain from editing Japanese related article in the future. Now moving on the staff, you stated that the page didn't list the storyboard, thing which is again false, if you took the time to actually read the article you care so much about, you would know that the storyboard staff has already been listed on episode 900, 903, 906, 912, 916, 921 and 923 or am I hallucinating? And finally, concerning the title of the episode 944, the official english licensed one still not known yet, a provisional one was literally translated - yeah now you can use this term - and presented by an annotation perfectly stating it. None of my contributions are against any rules and are, unlike yours, in favor, they are simple facts and doesn't need all those explanations to be implemented into the article, now if you want proof, please ask for it I have time to actually check the page unlike you, if you're not able to contradict me and just saying "we do this and we do that" then you obviously don't have any argument and just wasting everyone's time. Avdald (talk) 09:56, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm done arguing. SpectresWrath (talk) 17:09, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Gee, reading this sure makes it look like Avdald isn't being very civil about this at. Especially when they keep making threats of reporting people. Hmmm, maybe someone should brush up the terms of service. 2601:204:DC00:C6E0:BC43:A064:BFDA:6392 (talk) 17:19, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You're done arguing? That's funny considering you have no argument to begin with. Making threats at reporting people? I was just mimicking you and stop pretending you are two different person, we are aware of all your alternative accounts, no one is taking you seriously, someone should take the time to read Wikipedia:Sockpuppetry and by the way, congrats on learning what furigana are, you are making progress, do you plan on adding all the furigana on each kanji? That looks interesting... So does it hurt that bad to acknowledge your mistakes? Avdald (talk) 17:56, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sockpuppetry? Huh, shouldn't you get hard evidence before making such claims? Because I'd think making such false claims would be a very bad thing to do. 2601:204:DC00:C6E0:BC43:A064:BFDA:6392 (talk) 18:14, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This is why I was done arguing because if we can't reach a comprise, it will just end with both being blocked for who knows long. I seen happen alot. SpectresWrath (talk) 18:31, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Ok let's pretend that you are actually two different person if that makes you happy. So you want a compromise? How about responding to my arguments? You just humiliated yourself with the furigana stuff, I had to fully teach you how it works in order to realize your mistake. So you still think that Funimation literaly translate their titles? I can give you many example but just looking at the last aired episode title will help you understand that it's not literaly translated. You also are inconsistent by adding furigana when it was never added before on this page because you just discovered their existence, by using a different exclamation mark on an episode for some reasons and by removing a Storyboard staff when others episodes have them listed. And what's the point of listing an episode if you're gonna hide it? You're not making any sense and if there are rules in favor of your nonsense, a link would be very useful. Avdald (talk) 23:57, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Gee Avdald, it sure sounds like you have no evidence of sockpuppetry at all. Because it sounds an awful lot like conjecture without the evidence you so claim you have. 2601:204:DC00:C6E0:BC43:A064:BFDA:6392 (talk) 00:20, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Because of you, I'm not paying attention to anything else on this page since your fighting this stupid argument so badly. SpectresWrath (talk) 01:17, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well I am sorry to hear that SpectresWrath. And I also think it is stupid to waste time arguing rather than doing the job supposed to be doing. Maybe a better use of time is not making threats or false claims just to get way. 2601:204:DC00:C6E0:BC43:A064:BFDA:6392 (talk) 01:29, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I'm not talking you 2601. That's meant for Avdald. I'm sorry if I offended you. SpectresWrath (talk) 01:37, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yeah I'm sorry, look at that you guys obviously won the argument, you clearly have the advantage here, congratulations. Avdald (talk) 05:55, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Oh wow, Avdald finally admits they were wrong and just jumped to conclusions. 2601:204:DC00:C6E0:407B:A136:DF5D:46DA (talk) 12:13, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Kanji and Romaji reflect the actual title right?

[edit]

If it's not it's my mistake for assuming this and using Google translate on this. Pissedgreenlink (talk) 04:44, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

890/891 are Season 20?

[edit]

Why are 890 and 891 listed here? As far as I can see, the only source for the season's episodes is the DVD releases, which consider those episodes as the final two of Season 20. Also, the article's body and infobox claim different first air dates. LostTL (talk) 12:41, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

table is garbled in the mobile client

[edit]

The article looks fine in mobile firefox and probably on desktop (my internet is down or I'd check), but viewing it in the wikipedia ios client the content is garbled. Basically the table is broken and none of the division lines or episode numbers show up. My guess would be a misplaced character somewhere that the browser works around but the client doesn't, but I can't really check it myself right now because of inexperience and an inability to see anything on a screen larger than a dollar bill. Rifter0x0000 (talk) 06:39, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

still unfixed as of October 6. using Android app Toonsip (talk) 08:59, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

why isn't the table fixed yet

[edit]

the table is completely messed up and it's been like this for a long time I don't know anything about the way tables work but is there anyone gonna fix it finally 2001:D08:182B:7E1D:1:1:F0E8:8F76 (talk) 07:21, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Episodes list completely broken since Citation bot's edit

[edit]

The whole table for episodes list now shows "Script error: The function "" does not exist.", I have to no idea how to fix it. It got broken after Citation bot's edit. Just noticed it's the same issue for articles for Seasons 15-19 as well, which was also caused by the Citation bot. Megahmad (talk) 13:12, 21 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Edit: should be fixed now, I figured out how. I will soon try to fix the rest of the articles (for seasons 15-19) Megahmad (talk) 14:38, 21 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
