Deleted U2 info

[edit]

Have deleted the following unreferenced info as suspected hoax:

"One Day I'll Fly Away"
Song

If it is a genuine edit, please reference it, copy it and re-post it. Thanks. --Technopat (talk) 12:34, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Among other telltale signs, including the fact that no sourced reference has given out a track listing for a future U2 recording, the editor claimed that it was already a no. 1 hit in 2009 (note current date). --Technopat (talk) 07:42, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Deleted again - if you can reference it, back it goes. --Technopat (talk) 16:19, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Schubert?

[edit]

Can anyone verify the claim that the song is based on Schubert's Impromptu(s) D899? Having listened to all four of the said impromptus, I can't hear any similarity. And there's no reference or other evidence to substantiate the claim.

John Lewis Christmas ad

[edit]

The song has been covered by the band Vaults (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Vaults_(band)) for use in the Christmas advert for the department store John Lewis (https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/John_Lewis_(department_store)) here in the UK (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2016/11/10/john-lewis-christmas-advert-2016-released-buster/). Their Christmas ad has become quite a big thing here in the last few years and Vaults' cover is likely to be a Top 10 hit for them, so a section on it in the article could be useful... but as I wouldn't know where to begin editing to include that, I'll leave that for someone with more experience that I!
