Merging

[edit]

Delete Sextimus and possibly add a character list to this article? Clarkefreak 22:33, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Definitely. -- Metahacker 03:18, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Plot synopsis: It wasn't the pea at all!

[edit]

In the script, the claim is made (in the Finale song) that it wasn't the pea at all that made it so she couldn't sleep, and nowhere in the notes does it suggest that the pea still prevents her from sleeping (though that's how the fairy tale ends). Perhaps the reference to "Dauntless removes the pea" should be removed or modified with a qualifier that something like the pea being removed separately is added by some theater companies.

The Potion and the Wizard's relationship with the King

[edit]

There is no song in the musical called The Potion. Also, there's no mention in the script of the Wizard "falling for the King's charm and wit."

I believe some of this is from the revival. 72.79.202.234 (talk) 21:45, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An editor added an inline link to an image on amazon.com. I deleted the link per: "Images on external sites can no longer be linked inline to be publicized on Wikipedia. This is due to several reasons..." WP:IMAGE. JeanColumbia (talk) 20:44, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Song of Love

[edit]

The list of songs says "A Girl Named Fred (Song of Love)". I believe the intended name of the song is "Song of Love", but the song is remembered by the famous line "I'm in love with a girl named Fred". Therefore I believe the listing should say "Song of Love (A Girl Named Fred)".  Randall Bart   Talk  06:45, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Carol Burnett

[edit]

Why is no comment made about Carol Burnett, the original star of the show, originating the role of Princess Winifred in 1959, as well as the first and second TV versions in 1964 and 1972, being recast in a stroke of genius in the 3rd TV version as Queen Aggravain in 2005, where she REMAINED the star of the show (although Queen Aggravain was never intended to be the lead)? Her name is listed in each case, but no mention is made of her being brought back TO PLAY A DIFFERENT ROLE, of a different GENERATION, 46 years after the opening, and 33 years after the second TV special? Since the first two TV specials mention her being a cast member from the Broadway production, it would be appropriate to mention her unique relationship to the show in the third one as well. There must have been many comments made at the time. 2604:2000:F64D:FC00:C074:7213:964E:D512 (talk) 22:13, 17 May 2018 (UTC) —Comments such as in Note 11— 2604:2000:F64D:FC00:C074:7213:964E:D512 (talk) 22:16, 17 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
