There was a feature article on Ollie Silva in Stock Car Racing (the sport's leading monthly magazine for decades) in the 1970s. It's a reliable source that we need to find and cite. Unfortunately SCR 's old content isn't on the current owners' website, and there's no topic index available that I know of. If someone can find a copy, it would be a great help to this article. The book by Bones Bourcier on Jim Shampine, published by Coastal 181 Press, is another reliable source that can be used, if it has as much Ollie Silva material as I'm guessing. It might be early-Sixties cutdowns more than later material, as the Oswego and NESMRA supermodifieds stayed mostly separate in the Seventies. I own Bourcier's book on Richie Evans and it's been useful in improving and sourcing several articles. Barno00:05, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
