The building has a lively history that I enjoyed reading. One page number correction and a few copy tweaks. Ping when done. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 04:41, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know? If you fancy doing so, I always have plenty of GA nominees to review. Just look for the all-uppercase titles in the Television section. Reviews always appreciated.

Copy changes

[edit]
  • "Kalamein iron" too bad there is no place to link this.
  • The Guggenheim moved to Fifth Avenue in 1959, when the museum's permanent building on Fifth Avenue opened. If you want to say they moved to Fifth Avenue and their new building on Fifth Avenue, then bypass saying Fifth Avenue more than once in the sentence.
  • Check Lycée Français for regular accent use.
  • Hyphenate "fourth-grade"

Sourcing and spot checks

[edit]

Is Observer (the real estate publication, not the Sunday Guardian) just Observer, no "The"?

(Actually, it's supposed to be the New York Observer. Epicgenius (talk) 17:18, 26 July 2024 (UTC))[reply]
  • 18: LPC report, page 1, verifies the biographical details about Jennings. checkY
  • 21: Offline source. Going to instead check
    • 22: Citation is correct but cannot preview. checkY
  • 28: Details check out from both sources (Real Estate Record and New York Times). checkY
  • 36: Citation is correct but cannot preview. checkY
  • 51: Source checks out but the page number is 816, not 814. checkY
  • 53: Because there are 120 more students attending the Lycée this year than last, there was a temporary shortage, of space yesterday, and one mathematics class was held in a Louis XV ballroom. checkY

Thanks for the review @Sammi Brie. I've addressed all the prose and reference issues you mentioned above. I'll get to the alt text probably later today, when I have access to my other computer. – Epicgenius (talk) 16:23, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
