This entry is as lame as can be! Ole Evinrude was the primary inventor of the outboard motor as we know it and deserves a much better biography from Wikipedia users. A fellow named Jeffrey Rodengen wrote a great book on the history of Evinrude, Johnson, and Outboard Marine Corporation.
