Move

[edit]

I request a move of this page

  • Ohakune > Ōhakune

because common usage has macrons and WP:COMMONNAME CityOfSails2 (talk) 09:43, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A move wouldn't be necessary, right? We can just change the article to include the macron. Is the macron used in the original spelling? Everything comes up without it...Nauseous Man (talk) 11:22, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
We add macrons to names in New Zealand if that's the official spelling. Ohakune doesn't have an official spelling at present. See https://gazetteer.linz.govt.nz/place/33007.-gadfium 02:48, 1 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bungy jumping

[edit]

I removed a statement that said AJ Hackett had the world's first commercial bungy jumping operation at Hapuawhenua Viaduct. He did a tandem skydive from there, but the first commercial operation was in Queenstown.[1] Wainuiomartian (talk) 16:51, 26 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
