Criteria

[edit]

Source: "Eligibility & Criteria"[3]

That is how section Criteria now begins, followed by ten bullet points with ten more superscript links to reference [3]. The ten points follow the source very closely, evidently a direct quotation with a few tweaks. It's close enough to be copyright violation, if that pertains to such content. (a) It should be replaced by explicit quotation, or (b) the points should be paraphrased seriously, or (c) it should be explained in prose that breaks the 10-point format.

I guess the points are so numerous, short, and technical that their separate paraphrase, alternative (b), will not work well or it will be too much hard work. --P64 (talk) 19:22, 2 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Arrangement

[edit]

During update for 2013, I made some changes in the arrangement:

  • inserted section heading "Latest rendition", which segregates our brief coverage of the latest/current award from the lead
  • moved the observation about 3-5 annual Honors from the lead to the head of the table — where I added an observation about single narrators

Probably there should be some reconsideration of the material that remains in the lead. A thoughtful rewriting and rearrangement there might re-incorporate some or all of this material I put in sections 1 and 3. (The long technical section 2, see above, currently breaks up the article in a bad way.)
