the paper I got the cladogram from included several non-odobenid species, but labelled them as such and excluded several species that are otherwise considered odobenids. I haven't found a more recent cladogram that doesn't have these characteristics... Audrey.m.horn (talk) 18:09, 17 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The cladogram appropriately includes taxa outside the Odobendiae, but it doesn't demarcate the Odobenidae clade itself, which is important. MicroProf (talk) 21:04, 19 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
