IOOF Cemetery, Roseburg, Oregon

There is an Odd Fellows cemetery located in Roseburg, Oregon. (I.O.O.F Cemetery) [1] [2] [3] For more information: http://amorbidfascination.blogspot.com/2010/03/ioof-cemetery-roseburg-oregon.html 216.110.199.218 (talk) 18:49, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

Name

There is a clause reading "at the time of early rea of industrialisation". I don't think 'rea' is correct, but can't think of a word to replace it, except perhaps 'rise'. Any ideas? Peridon (talk) 10:28, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Odd Fellows. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

connotes?

The second paragraph of the introduction begins

The first, Loyal Aristarcus Lodge No. 9, connotes earlier ones in the 18th century.

This makes no sense. See "connote". Merriam-Webster.com Dictionary. Merriam-Webster.:

Definition of CONNOTE
transitive verb
  1.  to be associated with or inseparable from as a consequence or concomitant · the remorse so often connoted by guilt
  2.  a :  to convey in addition to exact explicit meaning · all the misery that poverty connotes · For her, the word “family” connotes love and comfort. b :  to imply as a logical connotation

The editor meant it suggests that there were earlier ones before. I'll clarify it. SpikeballUnion (talk) 20:07, 3 November 2017 (UTC)

Rituals

I came across the following by chance. Perhaps there could be a section on the rituals. http://www.stichtingargus.nl/vrijmetselarij/ioof_rini.html Independent Order of Odd Fellows Ritual for the Initiatory Degree. Chemical Engineer (talk) 18:25, 13 September 2017 (UTC)
