October Revolution Day was on November 7, and Brezhnev died November 10, 1982. Although frail for more than five years, his death was still caused by a somewhat sudden cardiac arrest.
Losing importantance
[edit]The article mentions that, supposedly, according to RIA Novosti, October Revolution Day lost its importance in 1970s. This is totally false. Interest, maybe, importance never. The October Revolution Day remained the most sacred of all days in the Soviet Union. The second most important day was the May 1 Day (International Labor Day). The Victory Day was very important, but never was considered more important than May 1 or November 7 celebrations. Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 03:02, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
