Retirement/resignation
[edit]"He retired from this position after a notorious incident in which several gymnasts were photographed by Romanian tabloid journalists as they were sneaking out from training camp to nightclubs".
Seems copy/pasted from an article on examiner.com (blacklisted by wikipedia so I can't add the link, but you can google any phrase below to find it) "Belu and Bitang, architects of the teams that won team gold in 2000 and 2004, left their positions in 2005 amid scandals regarding the 2004 team sneaking out of training to go to nightclubs, among other things. The duo are celebrated for producing champions, but have also been accused of abusive practices by several former gymnasts, including 2001 Goodwill Games champion Sabina Cojocar, 1996 Olympic team member Alexandra Marinescu and Oana Petrovischi, who alleged that Belu and Bitang made her give them a portion of the prize money she won in competitions."
Frankly I think this deserves some double-checking and the source looks dubious. MDobrescu (talk) 12:06, 9 August 2011 (UTC)

Romania was never part of Soviet Union. This is soooo wrong. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.224.24.226 (talk) 14:11, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
