Woefully deficient

[edit]

This article seems pretty much like a stub. ORB is a huge technology and widely deployed within enterprise systems. It seems like a lot more can be said. Object life-cycle management, data persistence management, session management, security, transaction management, performance issues, cross-platform integration, etc. Any objections to adding an 'expert needed' tag? Sorry, but Wikipedia policy is that articles must show evidence via citations to independent sources that their subjects are notable. My guess is that someone thought this term in general would catch on to describe more than the Common Object Request Broker Architecture, but do not think it did. When people say "ORB" they probably mean the CORBA ORB, so suggest just a redirect until other ones besides the "Common" one are available in citations. Vendor comparison

[edit]

Can there be a table of what CORBA version, what language bindings (and versions there in) a vendors implementation supports? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.46.198.232 (talk) 16:55, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
