Categorizing this redirect

I recently chose to tag this as {{r for convenience}}. However, I found in the history that an IP had previously attempted to use {{r from alternative name}} and was subsequently reverted (almost a year later). I assume the reverting user either was subconsciously prejudiced against IPs or thought that all categorization of redirects was deprecated.
