What is OBJ? an specification or programming language?
[edit]This quotation comes from the cited source: "The OBJ languages are broad spectrum algebraic programming and specification languages." Modern functional programming languages are derivation of specification languages. It is wrong to say that OBJ is a family of programming languages. It is a family of formal specification languages. Although they may be used to generate target code, the main goal is to prove correctness.
