The result of the move request was: Moved as nominated. After more than a month of listing, we only have two opinions. Both agree that the PTOPIC is not the ice hockey trophy, but disagree on where to send it. Since it's already called "O'Brien Trophy" and evidence for "O'Brien Cup" has not been conclusively presented, adding a disambiguator is the less controversial action. If anyone prefers "O'Brien Cup", feel free to start a new RM for that.  — Amakuru (talk) 14:08, 7 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

– I question whether there should be a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for "O'Brien Trophy". When I do a google search, I get significantly more results for the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy. When I look up the page view stats for the past year, the O'Brien Trophy page barely reaches 16 hits per day,[1] while the Larry O'Brien Trophy averages 373.[2] Zzyzx11 (talk) 06:11, 2 June 2017 (UTC) --Relisting. • Support conditionally The hockey trophy is no longer in use. I would support a move to O'Brien Cup, not O'Brien Trophy (ice hockey). It is already a redirect. It is labeled O'Brien Cup on the trophy. It has been known as the O'Brien Trophy since it became inactive and the Hall of Fame, where it resides, but it was donated as the O'Brien Cup.
