Speedy deletion

[edit]

Please do not remove the notice from pages you created yourself. Auroranorth (WikiDesk) 11:30, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reminding me. I've added a {{hangon}} tag: this article is currently in the process of being written -- nymphotomy/nymphectorm are specific terms for genital cutting, which can be applied both in the context of labiaplasty and in the context of female genital mutilation. This is a valid stub on a verifiable topic which can be expanded into a more detailed article later, and I'll provide references in a moment, if you'll let me. -- The Anome 11:35, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Would you please now unprotect the article, so it can be expanded? -- The Anome 11:43, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The page is not protected and never has been. Auroranorth, please stop tagging this for delEtion as it does not meet the criteria. Discuss! —Moondyne 11:53, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Second admin opinion:

  • Yes, avoid creating sub-stubs. You can use a sandbox in your user space for creations in progress.
  • No, even if you think a speedy tag is inappropriate, do not remove it from your article.
  • Yes, the stub has had sufficient content and context, it did not meet the criteria and I wouldn't have deleted it.
  • No, a protection tag is only for notification, it does not protect a page, and page protection wouldn't have been appropriate anyway after both tags were reincluded.
