References in Professional Wrestling Career Section
[edit]I have added all relevant references to the Professional Wrestling Career section of the article. As such, I have removed the Unreferenced section template, with the issue behind that template now being resolved.. If it is found that any of these references are not usable, or for one reason or another, more references are needed, please add proper template to article to indicate such, as well as let me know. - Great job! Thanks a lot.★Trekker (talk) 10:15, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
- No problem. As a side note, I plan on attending an AEW event in the near future, and if I can take a good photo while I am, I will resolve the missing picture issue. Cr@$h3d@t@t@1k t0 m3 10:18, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
- That would be fantastic!★Trekker (talk) 10:28, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

- Hi, When I worked on this article on the french version I found this : "Brandon Degroat ‘transitioned’ to Brandi Hicks Degroat, and performs in wrestling as Nyla Rose." under two pictures of this wrestler. The source is : https://www.womenarehuman.com/transgender-wrestler-manhandled-referee/ Sismarinho (talk) 04:45, 1 July 2022 (UTC)
- Per MOS:DEADNAME we don't include a subject's deadname if they weren't notable under it. — Czello 07:38, 1 July 2022 (UTC)

Her name
[edit]Hi.
Her name (not her dead name) is Brandi Hicks Degroat. In june 2021 she trademark her ring name and her nickname The Native Beast and on justicia trademark whe can read : "The name(s), portrait(s), and/or signature(s) shown in the mark identifies Brandi Hicks-Degroat, whose consent(s) to register is made of record.". Sismarinho (talk) 06:28, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Sismarinho. Indeed you are right, and I should apologize for my first revert, it was too quick for me have made a proper assessment of the information. Now, my second revert I did because very few sources use that name, which includes the trademark website you pointed, and a couple other websites. Since this is clearly not her common name, and the only actual news source that mentions it seems to be an attack piece. For those reasons, I don't think it should be added to the lede, though I guess adding it to the "Personal life" section might not be a big issue. Isabelle 🏳🌈 21:15, 19 July 2022 (UTC)
- This name fails WP:BLPPRIVACY because it has not been "widely published by reliable sources". The standard of inclusion for names is higher than just being sourceable. The BLP policy also applies to talk pages, so unless BLPPRIVACY is met, I'm inclined to post a notice on WP:BLPN to ask whether this discussion needs any administrative action. Deadnamed
[edit]The latest edit includes her deadname, citing an incredibly transphobic source. I'm not "established" enough to remove this toxic bilge. 2A00:23C8:9C59:3101:D081:1FB7:F3B3:ECC (talk) 18:40, 29 July 2023 (UTC)
