The Tupper attribution
[edit]It seems to me that the provided source refers to the motto's use by Jeremy Bentham, rather than Martin Tupper. The whole of Marx's article is a jab at Bentham and utilitarianism: "With such rubbish has the brave fellow, with his motto, “nulla dies sine lineas” (let no day pass without writing your quota), piled up mountains of books. Had I the courage of my friend Heinrich Heine, I should call Mr. Jeremy a genius of bourgeois stupidity." 178.220.212.217 (talk) 13:54, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
