«A very good novel at the first person, but not a crime novel at all! Why is it on the Crime or Thriller section in libraries? This is a litterary novel, as much as any Kerouac or Hemingway novel. Kerouac must have read it! It is a slow story, very introspective writing... No suspense here...although the end is with a defenitive tension... with a Goodis feel: a defenitive modern novel!» (L.
