Gacy actually lived in unincorporated Norwood Park Township, not the Norwood Park community in Chicago. (It says so in the Gacy article.) I changed that sentence to read "The Norwood Park area," since the township is surrounded by the Chicago neighborhood. Zagalejo 20:38, 9 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, why does this article state 'ethnically homogeneous,' without any reference to the prevalent ethnicity? Also, the hyphenated phrase 'and Republican' immediately subsequent to this is blatantly some form of an insult toward the residents of this area. Clearly, there are much better ways to state that the area is white and Republican in less degrading terms.

Heh, I'm not too crazy about that line either. Traditionally, the area is Republican, but they're not a bunch of fundamentalist Bush-lovers. I do know that Kerry did well in the area during the last presidential election. Zagalejo 21:15, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm wondering why the article states that the Memorial Day Parade has been a tradition for more than a century and in the next line reads: The tradition was started in 1922.

I was wondering whether John Wayne Gacy lived in Norwood Park proper or in the unincorporated township. -John M Wolfson (talk) 03:05, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
