I believe something should be written about the Norton buildings that were across the street from the main part of the base, located at the corner of Mill St and Tippecanoe Ave. They housed the Ballistic Missile Organization (BMO) from the early '60s until 1995, which housed the offices for the Minuteman, Peacekeeper, and other missile system programs. I believe BMO was still there for a year after Norton officially closed. Then the Defense Finance and Accounting Service created the San Bernardino Operating Location in the former BMO buildings, which lasted until DFAS made further consolidations. Perhaps this could be a sub-section under History. I'll try to find a good source for it and write it myself. Hildenja (talk) 18:32, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The article mentions a civilian staff of 2190 had an annual payroll of $1,539,000. That information comes from a newspaper. It cannot be correct as that calculates to about $700 per per person per year. If payroll was 15,390,000 that would make sense. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.146.119.153 (talk) 20:14, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
