Is this really a noteworthy entry? I haven't heard of this so called "North Auckland Peninsula" ever before, it's really just the upper part of the North Island. Jarbury 04:49, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's more often referred to these days as the Northland Peninsula, but yes, the term is widely used. A quick google of it under either name shows plenty of non-Wikipedia hits [1], [2].
