Dissolving the shares

North Melbourne is currently the only club that has any form of private ownership, through shares. They've just announced a plan to dissolve the shares and hand membership back to the members. Major rewrite & football pioneers

I have just gone through and made a major rationalisation of this article. In particular:

• Making the tone more encyclopedic (previously there was too much hyperbole)
• Severely trimming back the recentist slant in the history
• Severely trimming back the unencyclopedic "shinboner spirit" section

I have tagged the "football pioneers" section as unreferenced. This section makes some very bold claims about the innovations that North Melbourne has brought to the game, and I need to see a citation before I believe it. Aspirex (talk) 11:05, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
