recent move
[edit]This is the English wikipedia. I advocate using the English name again. No reason has been given for the recent moves which were all done by the same user. --Mk4711 (talk) 22:27, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- Agree. on their own website, the church translates itself Northelbian Church. I'm not quite convinced of translating it to North Elbian Protestant Lutheren Church, maybe there is a better solution? Sebastian scha. (talk) 22:42, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
- "North Elbian Evangelical Lutheran Church" would be the obvious translation. (Before anyone argues, One of the meanings of the English word "Evangelical" is as a synonym for "Protestant" when referring to churches in Germany and Switzerland - i.e., as a translation of the German "Evangelisch"). john k (talk) 01:33, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
- That's also the name the church uses in English if you read the whole text [1] --77.181.31.69 (talk) 15:36, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
