Junctions
[edit]If you might have noticed there are junctions but now thing to tell people they are junctions. Can anyone help me with that. Thanks--Ncchild (talk) 01:20, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
- Don't understand the question. In the Infobox, they should list only major junctions (i.e. Interstates and other major highways); a "junction list" or "major intersections" (the second I dislike using) is a more detail of every numbered highway and major road connecting to the route. The best I can suggest is to see how others do it. --WashuOtaku (talk) 04:35, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
It means if you look their is no Junctions: beside them. --Ncchild (talk) 16:43, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
Stub
[edit]I dont understand how this is a stub. It has tons on Information.--Ncchild (talk) 16:45, 20 November 2013 (UTC)
- At the time it was last assessed, it was a stub with only an RD section. USRD has a fairly simple way to assess articles. There is the Big 3: RD, Hist. RJL. If an article has only 1 of the Big 3, it's a stub. If it has 2, it's a start. If it has all three, it's a C or B; we look at the quality of the references and writing to determine if an article should be a B instead of a C. If any section is in really bad shape, we can skip counting it for assessment. Since there are all 3 sections, and they're in ok shape, I've reassessed this as a B. Comments
- " parallels the" is that the same as "runs parallel to the"?
- Is there a reason US 74 and US 76 etc aren't linked?
- I would imagine the length of the road would be suitable for inclusion in the lead?
- Avoid SHOUTING in ref titles (e.g. ROBERT HOWE)
- What's a "trumpet interchange"?
- "S. Thomas Rhodes Bridge" linked in the table but not the prose.
- "cross the Northeast Cape Fear River via" overlink.
- "Isabel Holmes Bridge" or "Isabel Stellings Holmes Bridge"? And the first isn't linked, the second is (albeit red)...
- "is concurrent along NC 133 " I would say "runs concurrently with NC 133" but I guess it's horses for courses.
- "parallel the Cape Fear River and" again is that "run parallel with"? And the river is overlinked.
- "to Orton Plantation in" overlinked.
- "concurrently along NC 211 for " overlinked.
- "modern-route " no need to hyphenate.
- "the Brunswick River and Northeast Cape Fear River. " both overlinked.
- " the Isabel Holmes Bridge, where " link it (albeit red) first time.
- "with US 117. US 117 and" repetitive.
- "towards Wrightsboro" overlinked.
- " a diverging diamond interchange was completed" overlinked.
- ""in Leland" overlinked.
- "0.48" in the table, keep conversions to same level of accuracy.
- Ref 5 (for example) a spaced hyphen needs to be replaced by spaced en-dash.
That's it for me, so it's on hold for now. The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 16:32, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
- I believe that I have fixed all of the problems except for the 0.48 in the table. Personally, I'm not sure that I can change that, it is an automatic conversion completed by the template.--Ncchild (talk) 17:47, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
- Yeah, fair enough. It looks silly sticking out like that but I appreciate it's not your fault. Perhaps the project could add a parameter to the template to allow decimal places to be selected, but I doubt that'll happen any time soon. I'll pass this to GA. The Rambling Man (Stay alert!
