Category?
[edit]I have placed this article in Category:Steroids. I'm pretty sure this is appropriate, right? If not, please revert me and accept my appologies. delldot | talk 00:46, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Edited definition, lists to prose, and tag added
[edit]Definition corrected, lists were converted to prose (for later expansion), and inappropriate citation tagged, and tag added to head to indicate dearth of any proper citations. Note, the listed examples underrepresent ring-altered norsteroids, and overrepresent des-methyl (simply altered) nor steroids. Pairs of related parent and norsteroid examples would better illustrate the title concept. Le Prof Leprof 7272 (talk) 01:47, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
references and examples
[edit]This short article in my opinion neither is a multiple subject lemma nor a under referenced one. It is about a general principle on the naming of natural compounds with a few examples. To add references one should add a list of biochemical introductory books. Do so if you like, but to me it should be well overdone. To add more examples, well do so if you like, but be aware: don't complain about the missing airstrip in your backyard in the lemma Aerodrome while e.g. pictures of John F. Kennedy International Airport and the airstrip of Never Neverland are there.
I feel I should remove the sitation needed tag.T.vanschaik (talk) 06:45, 10 June 2016 (UTC)
