Norman Haworth
[edit]So far as I know, he was generally known as Norman Haworth, so why is he here as Walter? See the ODNB and Obituary Notices of Fellows of the Royal Society, plus most places where he is mentioned.Chemical Engineer (talk) 19:41, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
Even the external link (Nobel prize) is headed "Norman Haworth" Chemical Engineer (talk) 19:43, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
You are absolutely correct. Professor Sir Norman Haworth was known by his middle name. When I get the time, I will create the page by his commonly known identity, and redirect Walter Haworth to it. Encyclo Britann... has his name correct... so should Wikipedia. 98.249.185.122 (talk) 00:48, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
