Most Carnegie Medal in Literature winning works were in print when CILIP marked the 70th anniversary of the award in 2007. This one was not.

WorldCat libraries report no edition later than 1979 (New Oxford Library).

This spring and summer I have visited the retrospective Carnegie citations for and the WorldCat "Formats and editions" for most of the Carnegie winners. But I know only that a great majority of the books are in print. I regret that I did not keep track of those which are not. --P64 (talk) 01:55, 15 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
