Not NPOV...

This article seems to be constructed around the assumption that all barriers to untrammeled free trade are a) bad, and b) the result of deliberate attempts at protectionism. Neither view is universally supported. For instance, quarantine measures are often accused of being purely protectionist, and sometimes they probably are, but when you're from Australia which has previously inadvertantly (or sometimes deliberately) imported foriegn pests from cane toads to Argentine ants you can argue that there are pretty good reasons to be a little bit suspicious of biological material from foriegn countries. --Robert Merkel 14:02, 18 September 2005 (UTC)

Expansion by Hebrew University student

I am going to expand this page using an article written by Zhanna Vrabets, a Hebrew University student. The article was written as a part of a project to write Wikipedia articles about International Political Economy and checked by the lecturer, Lior Herman. (Most of the articles in this project were written in Hebrew, but this one was written in English.)

I am not a political economy expert; I only volunteered to upload the document. I trust on the lecturer's expertise. It also has a bibliography, so the sources can be checked.
