Why is not there a massive coup in 2024? Read the details.
[edit]No one referred to the 2024 mass uprising as a non-cooperation movement. So the title should be "2024 Bangladesh mass uprising. Abdullah.al.zarif.khan.wiki (talk) 05:40, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Abdullah.al.zarif.khan.wiki I think you are misunderstanding. This is not about the uprising. The article is about the non-cooperation movement started from 3 August and many reliable sources call it as non-cooperation movement. There is no question of changing its name to 2024 Bangladesh mass uprising. Mehedi Abedin 08:37, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
Removal of R&AW of India from Infobox
[edit]I said this in 2024 Bangladesh quota reform movement article talk page and I'll say it here. Let me preface this by saying that I'm an Indian so the accusations and counter-accusations can be avoided. Now coming to the point So far only one source supports R&AW being involved on behalf of Hasina. The Source itself is nowhere to be found on Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources. We should either cite more high quality reliable sources or drop R&AW altogether. DataCrusade1999 (talk) 10:40, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- I've removed the reference to R&AW in the article as I believe it needs (probably more than one) reliable national/international sources. Thanks! Wrzedn (talk) 13:24, 7 September 2024 (UTC)
- Just for clarification, I removed this before I saw your post here. If other editors are interested, they can use this space to discuss whether to keep that info out or bring it back. Wrzedn (talk) 13:30, 7 September 2024 (UTC)

I think the section Disinformation by indian media is totally biased. Here is my point: 1. According to Prothom alo, Communal violence: 1068 houses and business establishments attacked Accoding to Bangladesh Hindu Buddha Christian Okiya Prarishad, Attacks on minority communities: At least 9 killed from Aug 4 to 20 Means attack on Bangladeshi hindu happened. Hindus in Bangladesh feel betrayed by attacks after government's ouster Mob violence in Bangladesh after Hasina's ouster stirs fear within the country's Hindu minority 2. The BBC Verify, AFP fact-checker said some attack is real. But many are fake. Far right & indian social media spreading misinformation. But there is no mention of indian media spreading disinformation. Accusing Indian media mainly mainstream spreading misinformation need to verify by multiple reputable source. The far-right videos distorting the truth of Bangladesh minority attacks Fact check: False claims fuel ethnic tensions in Bangladesh 3. About Prothom Alo news report, It said misinformation by Republic TV. We all know Republic TV have right wing biases. Only one channel don't represent county media. Like in us, Fox news have right wing biase. If fox news spread misinformation doesn't mean whole american media spreading misinformation. 4. Gobinda Pramanik & Gayeshwar Chandra Roy have history of speaking against Hindus. Gobinda Pramanik expelled from the organisation, become the president of the same organisation again after the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government.হিন্দু মহাজোটের মহাসচিব গোবিন্দ চন্দ্রের বিরুদ্ধে জামায়াত সংশ্লিষ্টতার অভিযোগ গোবিন্দ প্রামাণিকের বক্তব্য ‘রহস্যজনক’ Minority leaders castigate BNP leader Gayeshwar’s recent claim on Hindus Minority community leaders slam Gayeshwar’s recent claim on Hindus 5. Talking about Al Jazeera report, ‘Islamophobic, alarmist’: How some India outlets covered Bangladesh crisis Al Jazeera is funded by Qatar government. Qatar government & Al Jazeera both are accused for supporting islamic brotherhood & islamists.Muslim Brotherhood#:~:text=The Brotherhood itself claims to,and the AKP-ruled Turkey. Also qatar government also accused supposing terrorist by many countries including US, UAE, Saudi Arabia. Qatar and state-sponsored terrorism Read this article, Al Jazeera controversies and criticism#:~:text=The Bangladesh Federal Union of,Egypt, Jordan and the UAE. In Bangladesh section article say, "The news channel is often accused of downplaying the 1971 Bangladesh genocide, in which Islamist militias assisted the Pakistan Army in targeting Bengalis who sought independence from Pakistan."
