Clean up
[edit]I posted the cleanup and hangon links. This person is notable as an Olympic athlete and gold medal winner. The article needs alot of work which I cannot do right now but maybe later. Let's give it some time.JBEvans 11:00, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, the original article was poorly written and didn't make any sense, which is why I added the speedy delete tag. It seems a lot better now. Thanks. GhostPirate 11:12, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Religion
[edit]She is pleased to proclaim her membership via the "Yes, I'm a Mormon" website of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: [1] She writes a lot of interesting details about her sports (not just winter sports) and family. FYI, Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 05:12, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- I think 'religion:' should be in the lede right column, not the body of the Article. — Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 21:43, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- Also, a picture in the top-right lede would improve this Article. — Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 21:45, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
Headline: Days after winning silver, Mormon Olympian Noelle Pikus-Pace goes to church, reflects on God's path for her.
Another picture, this one at church with her daughter. — FYI, Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 16:47, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
Success in other sports
[edit]From her website you read of her success in other sports which should be in the Article.
"Noelle Pikus-Pace graduated from Mountain View High School in 2001. In high school she competed in soccer, basketball, softball, track and field, bobsled and also skeleton. She then went on to run track and field at Utah Valley University and graduated in 2005 1st team All-American with a bachelor degree in Community Health. During that time she also broke the UVU high jump record and was the NJCAA National Discus Champion." — Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 05:30, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
