S, I don't know if The Fader is a good source for EDM genres because they're primarily a hip hop publication and probably have no idea what tropical house sounds like but this song is just mainstream pop with some dance vibes, like a typical Major Lazer song. A tropical house song would sound like "Firestone" or "False Alarm" but this is something else. Just EDM-pop would suffice. Flooded with them hundreds10:01, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Flooded with them hundreds: Are we now arguing about sources not knowing what they're talking about? Honestly. The Fader is a reliable and perfectly fine source. It really doesn't matter what they primarily cover, or that you personally believe that they don't know what they're talking about or not. It has to be a pretty serious miscarriage of information (as in, getting actual facts wrong, for example if the Fader had said "Zayn is collaborating with Cardi B on this song") for somebody to remove something from an article on grounds of simply disagreeing with a music publication's assessment. Pretty sure everybody who knows anything about music from the 2010s knows what tropical house sounds like. I really don't agree with your assessment, and besides, there is nothing wrong with two genres being there. Also, Nicki Minaj is a hip hop artist, and Zayn certainly falls into an urban sound, so it's not really outside Fader's domain to cover anyway. Ss11210:34, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
