The article currently says "1978 ... in Kyoto" but Buruma, Ian (1984). Behind the mask: on sexual demons, sacred mothers, transvestites, gangsters, drifters and other Japanese cultural heroes. Since Tsuchida Yuichi of Kyoto appears to be a researcher in medical science, I'm deleting this per WP:BLP pending citation of a reliable source. -Kenilworth Terrace (talk) 14:38, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article in its current state is a mere summary of the personal memories of Akira Suei on the topic as found in "The Lucky Hole as the Black Hole" (see the references) which was then patched up with some additional sources that may or may not support the claims.
