Requested move

[edit]

PageName → NewName – I'm trying to merge the two separate pages for the two teams of Power Rangers in the Power Rangers: Ninja Storm season (the Wind Rangers and the Thunder Rangers, as well as a section for the Green Samurai Ranger), but the move for the first team is currently obstructed by the redirect to the article for the season itself. Discussion

[edit]

Well, well. First off, why do you find it neccessary to do all this, Junior? ACS (Wikipedian) 04:30, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There are only three characters mentioned (well, two and the third has his own article) and there are only two mentioned on the other page. Seeing as all of these characters ended up on the same team, I believe it would be easier for all of the information to be accessed in one place, although still divided by their original factions. The Wind Ninjas would have their own section and subsections, the Thunder Ninjas would have their own section and subsections, and the Green Samurai Ranger's character will get a mention on the future single page. All would be under one article name as the Ninja Storm Power Rangers. Ryulong 04:34, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Either that or I could edit the redirect so it's a total page that includes links to all of the different factions of Power Rangers for this specific season. Ryulong 04:36, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Wait... No...that wouldn't work. Ryulong 04:46, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Okay.. Well, for starters, you're overthinking it. You want it all in one page—ignoring the edit history of at least one article either way—and for that page to be named "Ninja Storm Power Rangers", right? Well, just go to redirect page itself and add it all to that. Then, edit both team articles so they act as redirects. Also, don't forget to check what links where. Good luck with your endeavor, Junior. ACS (Wikipedian) 05:15, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So I am to essentially be bold in my editting of these pages? All three of them? Ryulong 05:18, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. You want it done, right? Besides, you wouldn't believe how often stuff like that is done, anyway. I remember when I single-handedly changed the status quo with Stature and Stature (comics). Sometimes, you just have to take the bull by the horns. Also, between you and me, discussions hold up neccessary edits more often than they bring them about. I remember when I myself held up the "Thor (comics)" disambiguation debate. I didn't realize at the time how wrong I was, but I digress. Whether it's an someone trying to keep things as they are or a lazy/thoughtless/careless community who simply ignore your proprositions, I've found that actions speal louder thn words. Sorry I took so long to respond, BTW. ACS (Wikipedian) 05:50, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
S'okay. Gonna be working on this now, then. Ryulong 05:54, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

Per the above requested move, I am calling for a merge of Wind Rangers and Thunder Rangers to consolidate the information on all of the Ninja Storm Power Rangers. Ryulong 23:57, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't a bit redundant to say that again in a separate section of the talk page? ACS (Wikipedian) 04:32, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Move and Merge complete

Good work, Ryulong. Needed to be done (and, yeah, my fault, I know). -- Supermorff 10:33, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hunter's subsection

[edit]

There is no subsection for Hunter (contents seem to imply five Rangers and not six) - should his name simply be added to Blake's section (since the information will mostly be the same) or should there a new section created for him? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Genericchimera (talkcontribs) 11:39, 3 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

An IP removed it by accident. I've fixed this.—Ryūlóng () 20:18, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tori Hanson

[edit]

Out of interest, howcome there is no information for Tori Hanson regarding her appearance in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive episode Once a Ranger Part's 1 and 2? I am asking this because it mentions this information for Adam Park, Kira Ford, Bridge Carson and Xander Bly. Thanks. Will Kinsella (guest) @ 1708hrs UK on Tuesday 3rd July 2007

Actually I was thinking something similar. Here we have a Ranger who appeared in a 38 episode season, the PRDT Legacy of Power special, 4 team-up episodes (2 in DinoThunder, and 2 in Operation Overdrive), and she doesn't have her own section? Lesser Rangers have their own article, so it seems to me Tori should as well. --156.34.65.2 21:25, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Is Tori the only female Power Ranger to not wear pants/trousers as such (along the same lines as the boys) with her skirt? I mean, the blue top is sleeveless (like a vest) with a grey full sleeved lycra blouse underneath and below her skirt are grey lycra leggings (or tights perhaps) and not pants as such (whereas for the guys, it is a sleeveless top and pants in their colours) alongwith blue boots (or maybe it's a grey lycra full length bodysuit over which she wears a blue vest and a blue skirt). The other female Power Rangers do wear proper pants below their skirt (in Vida's and Madison's case, the pants are white in colour instead of their own ranger colours). Nothing perverted was intended regarding this comment (hope it's not deleted). I noticed this fact about her morphed uniform, so I thought I would mention it. 59.184.166.205 (talk) 14:50, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
