This page was pretty sparse, so I thought I'd spruce it up. Still needs work (there is a lot more stuff on the Japanese language site) ... but looking around, it looks like this is the largest article on any Shikoku city, although that's not saying much!

It would be nice to have a page on the Niihama Taiko Festival too.

Niihama, EhimeNiihama – No need for prefectural disambiguation. Majority consensus at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Japan-related articles/Archive 27#RfC: Mandatory disambiguation for Japanese places? which is to use prefectural names in article titles when required (not compulsory) is sealed with finality, so this RM can be deemed as valid. The only other two articles listed at Special:PrefixIndex/Niihama are Niihama National College of Technology and Niihama Station, but both are situated in Niihama city itself, as such Niihama (the city) is the parent topic of the name "Niihama." Using page views (as of June 25, 4:00 pm, UTC +8), the station has 23 readers while the educational institution has 6 readers (combined = 29 readers), while the city itself has a whopping 399 readers. Hence, it is clear what is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 08:22, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
