Playing career

[edit]

Please can somebody write some thing about Nigel's playing career. Kingjamie 20:51, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Left Newcastle?

[edit]

I know he's not assistant manager anymore but I don't recall the club confirming his departure. Sir-Nobby 13:13, 1 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Leicester City Return

[edit]

It is a clear fact that the media expect Pearson to return to Leicester City. I have provided 5 *reliable* sources to back up this fact. Please do not remove this information without clear evidence to the contrary. Guinness2702 (talk) 16:54, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a gossip column. Regardless of the citations, it is still speculation and has no place in an encyclopedia. Why do so many people want to be first with the "news"? Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 17:08, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nobody is trying to be first with anything. I am just adding facts. I am not speculating that the media are saying these things, the media are saying these things, and I can prove it.
  • BBC Say they "expect" Pearson to move.
  • The Guardian say "Leicester will pay"
  • Northcliffe Media say "inevitable switch"
  • The Sun say "will seal his return"
  • football.co.uk say "expected to announce"

Speculation has no place in Wikipedia. That speculation is taking place on a large scale is noteworthy. Please do not remove facts unless you can provide clear evidence that they are untrue. Guinness2702 (talk) 17:19, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to waste your time, that's your choice. I have better things to do than fight you on this. Come Friday, if he moves, what you have spent so long composing will be replaced by actual content. Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 17:44, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't find improving Wikipedia to be a waste of time, I think of it as giving something back. As for future updates splatting my edits, well, that's simply the nature of a wiki. Enjoy your "better things" :) Guinness2702 (talk) 17:52, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
As Gordon Strachan once said: "I've got a yoghurt that's near its eat-by date". Daemonic Kangaroo (talk) 19:25, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request from , 13 November 2011

[edit]

The last paragraph under the section detailing Pearson's time at Leicester states "summer 2011" when it is clear from the succeeding content and is known to be the case that the events occurred in summer 2010.

Bucksphil (talk) 17:13, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing out. i have change it to 2010. Keith D (talk) 18:45, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
