Update of The Nielsen Company page

I work in The Nielsen Company's communications department and have updated the outdated content on Nielsen's main page. I hope that this will improve the quality of all other Nielsen-related pages.

I am aware of Wikipedia's guidelines and will follow them.

VNU

Hi. I just made the stub page VNU since an unhelpful redirect was pointing here. Both company's have long (pre-)histories. If someone is a little bit knowledgeable on this subject (I'm not) please check VNU for errors etc. I've added that VNU was renamed The Nielsen Company in 2007.. However sometimes (often) after takeovers several parts will be split off before renaming - in the case of VNU if anyone knows about divestments as a result of the takeover please fix the article or just leave a message on VNU talk page.. (and I will try to do it). If it's the case that all of VNU became part of "The Nielsen Company" in 2007 then that is relavent too. Thanks. (please leave messages at VNU) Imgaril (talk) 16:46, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

Good work at Verenigde Nederlandse Uitgeverijen; I agree that it deserves a separate page. I have added info, most of which has citations, from this article. Citations for the other bits would be desirable, e.g. sale of newspapers to Wegener, acquisition of BASES, Claritas, HCI and Spectra. – Fayenatic (talk) 18:49, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
