To User:La goutte de pluie, Lee Kuan Yew is deemed as one of Singapore's founding fathers. Don't edit just for the sake of it.
- That is from a POV that ignores Goh Keng Swee and Toh Chin Chye's contributions. According to books such as Lee's Lieutenants (a very respectable, scholarly source), GKS and TCC deserve more of the credit. Elle vécut heureuse à jamais (be free) 14:30, 12 June 2011 (UTC)

Coolingoff day incident?
[edit]News just came out that both Tin Pei Ling and Nicole Seah were let off the hook for violating cooling off day regulations. Strange that there is no entry on Nicole Seah's article on this considering the fact of how big it was made out to be on the Tin Pei Ling article. Deserves a mention at least. Let me try.... - That is true. Actually this also has implications on 2 other articles, the GE 2011 article and possibly also the Tin Pei Ling since the 2 cases are so similar. Care must be taken to make sure the write up remains neutral, as I foresee this addition being hotly "contested" by various parties. Zhanzhao (talk) 14:20, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
- Looks like the GE 2011 article already mentions it, though the coverage on Tin Pei Ling seems a bit too overly detailed. I may try to summarise that a little. Anyone else can take a whack at thm fiest though as I may take a while.Zhanzhao (talk) 14:38, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
