I've added four additional references - one is a profile of her at the time she received an award (Gruss, 1997), one is an interview with Le Douarin about her science (Durand, 2010), one an assessment of her early work 40 years later (Grapin-Botton, 2005) and one is by Le Douarin herself about her life in science (Le Douarin, 2018). I don't have the expertise to analyse the science in these but there is more information in them that might be usefully added to this page.
