Abuse Case
[edit]I've moved the discussion of her childhood abuse to the Political Campaign section from the Early Life and significantly rewrote the section. My problem was that I don't see the fact that she was abused as being something that should be discussed in terms of her general life, as I'm uncomfortable with defining her as the victim in that manner. At the same time, it is part of the public record, and was discussed extensively after the Australian Story episode, as well as garnering significant media coverage when the attacker was convicted. Thus as the discussion of the abuse case tends to be in regard to the effect it had on her political campaign, I felt that it made more sense to include it there, but to place greater focus on the court case rather than the abuse. Anyway, I hope that makes sense. - Bilby (talk) 13:08, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
