This article suggests that Nicole Bass both died February 16th and is alive as of February 17th but is being taken off life support. Obviously, this is a huge contradiction. Williamlmartin89 (talk) 20:32, 17 February 2017 (UTC)

@Williamlmartin89: It's a mess right now. It's clear she was declared brain dead on the 16th. It's unclear if she's legally dead: USA Today is saying yes but hedging; the New York Post is saying yes; ProWrestlingSheet is saying no. Her Facebook page is saying yes, but that's a primary source. —C.Fred (talk) 20:48, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
I am debating whether this article needs the {{Recent death presumed}} template. —C.Fred (talk) 20:54, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
Even though I just changed it to "dead", I am big supporter of people taking a chill pill and waiting to get the information right rather than simply trying to be first with information. I am usually in the music articles. I hate the idea of debut albums being articles before they are even released. And all of the make ups and break ups. This isn't Twitter, it is an encyclopedia - it doesn't need to be first, it just needs to be right. So, yes, I support the "recently died" template. Not everything is newsworthy. Not everything you see online is true. We need to just relax. Kellymoat (talk) 21:12, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
And I'm not hitting the death date with a citation needed or disputed template, but I did tag the article as a presumed recent death—until a reliable source has confirmed the death by some means other than a posting to her Facebook page. —C.Fred (talk) 21:44, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
I believe the article should tilt towards reporting her death. Mainstream media like USA Today and The Independent have reported her dead, as have reliable wrestling media like Wrestling Observer and PWInsider. As far as I can tell, only fringe wrestling outlets are running stories about her still being alive. Wrestling sites not listed as reliable at WP:PW/RS have a tendency to either make stuff up or use random people from twitter as sources. The current template works for me until everybody gets on the same page anyway.LM2000 (talk) 21:55, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
