Talk:Nick Kremm

Unreliable sources
[edit]Hi, it appears to me a message that some of the references of the article are not reliable but they don't give specifics.
I would like to see them in detail in order to delete them, replace them and most important of all, keep the article I've just create. Thank you Alvadrosss (talk) 13:28, 6 October 2024 (UTC)
- I didn't add the tag, but BoyTheKingCanDance has explained in the edit summary that IMDb or Instagram are unreliable sources. I would add secondary and tertiary sources are better than the official page as a source (it is allowed but is better using other sources). Regards. Tajotep (talk) 10:15, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- hey thank you for responding, so I have to delete IMDb and Instagram but in that case, can be valid links like Youtube videos or articles uploaded by his company's yotube channel or main page are secondary or like IMDb or instagram are principal? Alvadrosss (talk) 10:32, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, Alvadrosss, for an essay explaining why not to use a YouTube video clip as a source, see: Videos as references. Best regards, BoyTheKingCanDance (talk) 11:21, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- A YouTube video uploaded about Nick Kremm by "BestVideos2024" (for example), is an unreliable source, but a YouTube video about Nick Kremm uploaded by Hollywood Reporter or Variety (for example), is a reliable source. The problem about sources from the own company is that, in general, most of them are promotional, for that reason is better to avoid them. Tajotep (talk) 12:00, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hi already deleted some of the references and sources published by third parties and replaced them with information of interviews such as The Hollywood Reporter and other third parties, as well one coming up soon.
- When would this message be delted? Or what else should I do? Alvadrosss (talk) 12:04, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Alvadrosss: Well, you under an IP just removed it, right? Is this what are you asking about? The best way when you are a new user is to talk first to the user who put the template, and then he/she will remove it, but the article is better now, and I appreciate your contributions. I see there are paragrahps without references (maybe the source is The Hollywood Reporter but it isn't place in the paragrahps, I'll check it), but as I say, it is ok. Just a joke: me hace gracia que tú puedas ser de Chiclana de la Frontera y yo de Puente Tocinos, y estemos hablando en inglés). Greetings and I hope it goes well.
