Deletion
[edit]I believe Nick Adams wrote his own wikipedia page, and he likely doesnt meet notability criteria. However, I have only made a few edits before (IP) and made an account just to flag this issue, so I will leave it to someone else to possibly delete it. Fieryphoenix2 (talk) 01:57, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- It has already passed Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, so it is deemed notable. LibStar (talk) 02:19, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
- Just saw this discussion and wanted to mention i created this article in 2017 due to the Trump tweet about him, I was fascinated at the time at Trump tweeting out books as if he was being paid to plug them while president. So Nick didn't create it himself, and I certainly wouldn't agree with his politics. As to whether its been morphed into a vanity page, I haven't looked.--Milowent • hasspoken 18:11, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
- If it was a vanity page it wouldn't have included that photo. 38.15.84.177 (talk) 13:33, 8 November 2022 (UTC)
- I mean you raise a good point, but the article still tells you nothing about a guy who doesn't seem to have done much. How did this pass Wikipedia:Articles for deletion? 2603:8081:2600:400:7C40:B77D:308:F13 (talk) 21:10, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- Maybe lack of interest? Dear God let it be lack of interest. If this guy isn't a troll, and he's genuinely like this, he's shocking, and successful. I don't like him at all, but given the nonsense he continually tweets (like seeing some guys physically fighting over a Trump NFT), I hold out hope that he's just all tongue-in-cheek. 117.20.68.49 (talk) 01:17, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
- He's a frequent guest on Fox programs and other conservative podcasts and shows. I think some of Tweets are tongue and cheek but he's definitely a noteworthy conservative commentator/author and deserving of a Wikipedia page. Thomashern4 (talk) 23:28, 2 January 2023 (UTC)

tongue-in-cheek
[edit]It seems sort of misleading to say he's a twitter troll. Some of his tweets are clearly facetious. In other words, he's a conservative guy who frequently exaggerates his politics in various ways for comedic effect on twitter. I realize I don't have a source, I'm just raising the issue. Sorry for being too lazy to look for a source. This isn't the funniest tweet or anything, but I picked it out because it's clear he's joking and not trying to trick or troll anyone or anything like that: https://twitter.com/NickAdamsinUSA/status/1629653764578607105 Benevolent Prawn (talk) 03:31, 28 February 2023 (UTC)

Ted Nugent as a country music artist?
[edit]I don’t think most of Ted Nugent’s musical output can be called country, and he certainly isn’t known for that, contrary to what this article claims. It’s true that he holds conservative political views and has a “redneck” persona like the stereotypical country musician, but he himself isn’t one. He’s more of a heavy metal artist, like Jon Schaffer is. So this article should reflect that when referring to him.2600:1014:B031:55F7:DD1D:E492:371F:3BDB (talk) 16:27, 18 November 2023 (UTC)

Change Nick Adams' main photo on his wikipedia page to a more promising/good looking photo. Since the photo now isn't very flattering nor fits the personality of Nick Adams. A better picture would be from his Twitter/X Account where he has better photos taken of himself. Travisj1930 (talk) 00:35, 6 January 2024 (UTC)

Citation or Clarification
[edit]"He has said that since he held conservative views that he had to wait nearly five years to acquire citizenship because of discrimination by the Obama administration." This statement needs to be cited in some way or contextualized in a way that clarifies that it's Adams's interpretation or belief as to what delayed his citizenship, as opposed to how it reads, which appears to be acknowledging the reason as valid, without citation. 69.60.33.176 (talk) 21:41, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
