Warning: This article, as well as the National Register of Historic Places nomination, contains many errors and requires correction.

[edit]

The original 1973 National Register of Historic Places nomination for the Nicholas East House included an incorrect map and photographs. The map in the nomination erroneously shows the location as the Robert Ralston House on Saint Matthews Road in West Vincent Township, and the photograph uploaded to this page by Jerrye and Roy Klotz MD in 2012 is the Robert Ralston House, not the Nicholas East House. In addition, the photos in the original nomination are of a third house, the Brownback House, which is not the Nicholas East House or the Robert Ralston House. Information in the encyclopedia about the Nicholas East House should have a disclaimer that the information given in the original source is not accurate, and photos/maps/coordinates should be removed. In addition, permission was not requested or given for photography of the Robert Ralston House and we are requesting that these photos be removed. The West Vincent Historical Committee is aware of the issue and working to correct the nomination. KLFarnham (talk) 00:37, 2 June 2015 (UTC)Kate Farnham (homeowner)[reply]
