Possible move

[edit]

I have created a new article on the new President of Vietnam according to the western spelling. I don't know whether the accents are right. Capitalistroadster 03:57, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Plagiargism?

[edit]

"Vietnam is a one-party state where the president holds a ceremonial position and the Prime Minister oversees the daily workings of the government, while the most powerful position is the General Secretary of the Communist Party (currently Nông Ðức Mạnh)." From the article.

"Vietnam is a one-party state with a collective style of leadership. The prime minister is in charge of overseeing the government's day-to-day workings, while the president holds a more ceremonial position. The country's most powerful leader is the head of the Communist Party." From the linked CNN page

These are statements of asserted fact, there's only so much that a writer can say differently. I'll try to tinker with the language a bit. Huangdi 21:22, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.

The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.

Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 10:03, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
